| The prints above were created from the animations used in the video installation Strobe. The animations in turn were derived from four Muybridge photos which were downloaded from various Internet websites, reworked and then animated. The four photos used include Galloping Horse, Punch Thrown with the Right Hand, Tumbler and Elephant. The rider has been removed from Galloping Horse. The prints are compilations of video stills from recreated animations. The images with tv monitors are digital photos of installation tv monitors while the animations are being played. The titles of each print are the computer file name for the .jpg image file which can be found in the address bar. For example, the title of the upper left hand corner piece is entitled acroPfr (digital prints). |
